Construction and Project Procurement Specialist

Job Opportunity at Actief Personalmanagement GmbH
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction and Project Procurement Specialist to join our team at Actief Personalmanagement GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes for construction and project-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Calculation and Analysis: Calculate material and labor costs based on performance specifications and execution plans, as well as individual costs of partial services, unit prices, and total bid amounts.
- Project Setup and Coordination: Develop construction site setup, construction workflow, and supply plans, monitor construction site facilities, and dispose of construction and construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate with clients, trade supervisory authorities, professional associations, suppliers, and subcontractors, and coordinate deadlines for work to be performed by individual construction companies or trades.
- Commercial Support and Project Management: Provide comprehensive commercial support and management of construction projects in close coordination with construction and project management, prepare monthly reports, and assist with invoicing and billing as well as receivables management with customers and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Successful completion of studies in industrial engineering, business administration, or civil engineering, or alternatively, a completed commercial training with professional experience. Experience in construction project administration is desirable, ideally in the field of civil and pipeline construction.
- Skills and Knowledge: Analytical skills for cost analysis and data interpretation with knowledge of cost accounting and controlling, familiarity with contract law (VOB/construction contract law), and excellent knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and ideally BRZ.
- Personal Qualities: Strong communication skills and teamwork, economic thinking and acting, as well as an independent, committed, and responsible approach to work.
