The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing potential and current risks through thorough research and assessment. They will also be responsible for evaluating and analyzing various risk factors to proactively address emerging risks.
Key Responsibilities- Identify potential risks to the company through comprehensive research and assessment.
- Evaluate and analyze various risk factors to proactively address emerging risks.
- Evaluate existing risk management processes and programs for effectiveness.
- Modify and enhance the risk management framework to ensure optimal risk control.
- Develop and curate a customized risk management framework aligned with the business lines of Raisin GmbH.
- Contribute to strategic development initiatives to elevate our risk controlling practices.
- Apply high-level analytical skills to gauge and interpret risks accurately.
- Engage in project work related to risk controlling, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new control concepts and enhance risk management strategies.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in risk controlling, ILAAP, and risk reporting.
- Strong understanding of European and German banking regulations.
- Proven experience in liquidity, market, and interest rate risk management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, planning, and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of the financial industry, banking products, and processes.
- Technical competence and openness to adapting to new challenges.
- Fluency in English and German.
