Research Focus
The successful candidate will be working on the structural biology of the mitochondrial membrane protein MPV17. This protein is crucial for maintaining mitochondrial DNA, and its dysfunction leads to severe liver damage and other health issues. Our research aims to understand the molecular causes of MPV17-related diseases and to develop new therapies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on the structural biology of MPV17 using NMR and other high-resolution methods
- Develop and implement new biophysical techniques for characterizing membrane proteins
- Collaborate with our team to decipher the functional role of MPV17 and investigate its structure
- Contribute to the development of new therapies for MPV17-related diseases
Requirements
