Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at LOGISTIC PEOPLE (Deutschland) GmbH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our fleet, ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of goods, and leading a team of professionals in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the logistics team, including planning, coordination, and execution of transportation activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of logistics activities.
  • Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Proven track record of improving logistics efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems, including transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
