About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Virtualization Developer to join our team at SAP HANA Cloud Virtualization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering excellence to our users by designing and implementing cloud solutions using Kubernetes clusters and specialized VM technology deployed to AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your expertise in Linux, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, helm, Grafana, and Jenkins to streamline cloud processes and automate tasks.
  • Implement knowledge of automation processes, tools, continuous integration, and continuous delivery to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of cloud solutions.
  • Regulate permissions, VM capacity, and other settings on AWS, Azure, and GCP accounts to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations.
  • Undertake administrative tasks within Kubernetes clusters and Linux servers to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Handle IT tasks for teams, resolving issues with developer servers, storage, backups, and networks on a higher level, including topics such as nulls, secrets, technical users, and build environments for C code.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of proven experience as an IT System Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux SysAdmin, comprehensive experience with Linux in system management and development, including crontab, bash, core utilities, package managers, screen/tmux, grep, awk, sed, ssh, rsync.
  • Experience with Bash, regex, Git, Python is a must (SQL is a plus).
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools such as VM, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD and version control tools, such as git, Jenkins/github-action and CI.
  • An understanding of networking, system administration, and security principles.
  • Proactivity with a positive approach.
  • Work efficiently in a team, exhibiting excellent communication and collaboration skills.
