About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist for Construction Services to join our team at Hornbach. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for construction and subcontracting services, as well as maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers, create tender documents, assess bids, and negotiate contracts with our partners.
• Develop and maintain a stable, pan-European network of suppliers through close collaboration with existing and new partners.
• Monitor and analyze market trends in procurement and initiate projects to introduce innovations into our procurement processes.
• Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders across various levels of the organization to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Requirements:

• As an experienced construction buyer, you possess a high level of expertise in negotiations and contract management, both in German and English.
• Your excellent communication skills enable you to maintain respectful relationships with technical and functional partners across different levels of the organization.
• You stay up-to-date with the latest developments in construction procurement and are eager to apply this knowledge in practice.
• You are willing to travel occasionally to our construction sites in Germany and abroad.
