About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at HORNBACH. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in IFRS and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
