Are you passionate about developing and maintaining intelligent technology for condition monitoring systems? Do you have a deep understanding of how sensors collect and transmit data? We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud services, including microservices, databases, and IoT components, in the public cloud (Azure).
  • Monitor cloud components and IoT devices for availability and performance.
  • Extend the existing cloud architecture with new components to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Maintain, scale, and operate cloud components to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement optimizations to reduce costs, improve scalability, and enhance efficiency.
  • Advise the development team on the selection of new cloud components and ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure secure operations and compliance with industry standards.
  • Support certification processes and communicate with service providers.
  • Work closely with product management and development to design and maintain the overall solution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of IoT cloud infrastructure and experience with cloud providers (preferably Azure).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) and Linux.
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and DevOps best practices.
  • Good knowledge of English and German is a plus.
