Job Opportunity: Research Assistant - Cryo-Electron Microscopy

The Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences is seeking a highly motivated student research assistant to join our research group Molecular Mechanisms of Membrane Trafficking. The successful candidate will assist in setting up computational pipelines and processing cryo-EM data.

About the Role

  • Assist in setting up computational pipelines for cryo-EM data analysis
  • Process and analyze cryo-EM data
  • Collaborate with the research group to achieve project goals

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
  • Scripting experience, preferably Bash, Python, and MATLAB
  • Matriculated in a Bachelor's or Master's program at a German university
  • Good spoken and written English
