**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Expert to join our team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our Group Finance-Accounting team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing financial plans and forecasts in accordance with commercial law and international accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial plans and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Process financial statement items and support the annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
  • Reconcile and analyze accounting processes, particularly in the area of cost allocation.
  • Support an international branch for HGB closing purposes.
  • Participate in projects, such as SAP projects, to drive process improvements and digitalization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, or mathematics, with a finance major, or commercial training with a concentration in accounting/auditing.
  • Professional experience in financial accounting or controlling is desirable.
  • Independent user skills in German and English.
  • Capacity for analytical thinking and a precise working method.
  • Enthusiasm for optimizing and digitalizing processes.
