Join Our Team as a Fiber Laser Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated researcher to join our team as a Fiber Laser Expert. As a key member of our Laser Technology department, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes for high-power laser fibers from bulk glasses in the fluoride material system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and investigate processes for high-power laser fibers
  • Realize and optimize fiber draw techniques for multi-clad fibers and novel fiber geometries
  • Contribute to the scientific investigation of fiber lasers and evaluate different fiber laser architectures
  • Work independently on projects and write reports and publications in English or German
Requirements:
  • Degree in physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, or equivalent disciplines
  • Knowledge and experience in fiber draw processes and related equipment
  • Basic knowledge in fiber lasers and preform manufacturing
