Project Supply Chain Manager

At Alstom, we're committed to creating a greener and smarter mobility future. As a Project Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate supply chain activities and interfaces within assigned projects from tender to project end.
  • Act as the primary contact person for the supply chain area within the project core team.
  • Implement group requirements with suppliers and establish synchronized supply chain processes aligned with project needs.
  • Monitor and manage material requirements planning, considering production needs.
  • Review requirements and computerized purchase orders for schedule and content conformity to project requirements.
  • Participate in high-level meetings and organize/moderate meetings within the project core team.

Your Profile:

  • Hold a completed 3-year subject-related vocational training and an additional professional training (state-certified technician or state-certified business economist) or several years of relevant work experience.
  • Be fluent in English and have German written and spoken skills.
  • Have experience in Supply Chain, especially Supplier Management.
  • Have an Auditor background.
  • Have ERP SAP experience.
  • Have Sourcing or Quality experience.
  • Exhibit high proactivity and strong communication skills.
