Residential Child Care Worker

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Residential Child Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing individualized care and support to children and youth within our residential setting.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate daily activities and routines within the care system, ensuring a structured and supportive environment.
  • Provide personalized assistance and guidance to each child or youth within the group context, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
  • Engage in recreational activities and contribute to the organization of enriching holiday programs, fostering a sense of fun and belonging.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal specialists, such as therapists and educators, to ensure comprehensive care and support for the children and youth in our care.
  • Maintain strong communication and coordination with external agencies and organizations involved in the children's or youth's well-being.
Requirements:
  • A recognized qualification in education, social work, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with children and youth in a care setting.
  • A deep understanding of trauma-informed care principles and attachment theory.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean criminal record.
