Wildlife Caretaker

We are a private company with 80 species from 5 continents, featuring small and large mammals, waterfowl, and exotic animals. Our zoo has approximately 250 animals, including foxes, alpacas, camels, skunks, owls, kangaroos, bears, zebra-striped mongooses, warthogs, and a petting zoo. Our snake house is home to various reptiles and amphibians, such as leopard geckos, praying mantis, and tarantulas. Our motto is "feed, pet, marvel, play, and explore in the woods." We have a large playground with a beautiful old tree stand, inviting children and adults alike to discover and play.

We are seeking a motivated team member for a full-time position as a Zookeeper (m/w/d).

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks related to animal care in all enclosures
• Assist with maintenance, planning, and construction of animal enclosures
• Document animal inventory, medical examinations of offspring and juveniles
• Visitor education and information
• Animal enrichment

• hold a completed education in animal care or zoological care
• work independently and take responsibility as part of a team
• consider flexibility and willingness to work on weekends and holidays as a matter of course
• possess a valid driver's license (class B)
