At Q CELLS, we're seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team and drive innovation in energy trading and portfolio management. As a key member of our data platform team, you'll design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge data solutions that support our traders and portfolio managers in daily operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and program algorithms for automating trading strategies and data-driven services
  • Collaborate with trading experts to design and implement customized solutions and applications
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of incoming data and manage interfaces efficiently
  • Explore new methods and technologies to enhance our data architecture, trading operations, and analytical capabilities
Your Profile:
  • Hold a degree in informatics, engineering, natural sciences, business informatics, or similar
  • Have an analytical approach and excellent organizational skills
  • Be proficient in mathematical valuation methods and modeling, as well as commodity trading
  • Have practical experience in programming (Python3, Spark, SQL) and API design
  • Have solid knowledge of database architecture and RDBMS (e.g. schema design)
  • Be business fluent in German and English
  • Ideal experience in the energy industry
