About Our Corporate Consulting Team
Our Corporate Consulting and Digitalization team at Heraeus works on key topics that are highly relevant for the performance of the Heraeus Group. We have deep expertise in Supply Chain Excellence and Commercial Excellence, and we drive digital innovation in various areas, such as Digital Customer Experience, IoT, and Data Science.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex projects and provide consulting services in all areas of operations, including production, logistics, planning, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategically relevant projects in our operating companies, interact with management teams, and identify long-term supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.
- Lead cross-site projects to increase profitability and productivity, and optimize production processes.
- Play a key role in the Supply Chain Excellence team and ensure that the team is consistently focused on customer needs, quality, and efficiency.
- Drive the conceptual development of the Heraeus-wide Supply Chain Excellence approach using an entrepreneurial approach.
- Coach employees from our operational business units.
Requirements
- Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, engineering, economics, or equivalent.
- Several years of experience (at least 4 years) in strategy consulting focused on Supply Chain, ideally in one of the top strategy consultancies.
- Profound knowledge of production and production-related areas, such as production planning and control.
- A high degree of independence in the elaboration and development of new topics relevant to us, as well as a strength in actively promoting these topics within the organization.
- Willingness to work in an evolving environment and collaborate across multiple business areas and employee groups to achieve common business objectives.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects within defined timelines and budget.
- Fluent in English and German, both in written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% internationally on a project basis, also over several weeks.
