About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Supply Chain Excellence team at Heraeus. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives and projects that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex projects and provide consulting services in all areas of operations, including production, logistics, planning, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategically relevant projects in our operating companies, interacting with management teams and identifying long-term supply chain strategies.
  • Lead cross-site projects to increase profitability and productivity, and optimize production processes.
  • Manage international project teams, independently overseeing projects from conception to implementation and ensuring their sustainability through regular performance evaluations.
  • Contribute to the development of the Heraeus-wide Supply Chain Excellence approach, driving conceptual development and promoting the approach within the organization.
  • Coach employees from our operational business units, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, engineering, economics, or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience (at least 4 years) in strategy consulting focused on Supply Chain, ideally in a top strategy consultancy.
  • Profound knowledge of production and production-related areas, such as production planning and control.
  • High degree of independence in developing new topics relevant to Heraeus, and strength in actively promoting these topics within the organization.
  • Willingness to work in an evolving environment and collaborate across multiple business areas and employee groups to achieve common business objectives.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Fluent in English and German, both in written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% internationally on a project basis, including extended periods.
