About the Role

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our EMEIA team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with retail management to analyse workforce trends and develop HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Partner with the relevant COEs on recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development to ensure the best talent is attracted and retained.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive work environment, address employee concerns, and use engagement survey results to develop plans to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Performance Management: Guide managers through performance review, provide support to implement improvement plans, and promote a culture of continuous feedback.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the Reward COE to ensure competitive compensation practices that attract and retain top talent.
  • Organisational Development: Support change management, promote diversity and inclusion, and lead initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR metrics, provide reports and insights as required, and use data to inform decision-making.
  • Coaching: Support and coach line managers on HR issues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a HR Business Partner is essential.
  • Experience of working effectively with works councils and trade unions would be an advantage.
  • Experience in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and HR initiatives.
  • Experience in the luxury retail industry is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Good knowledge of HR best practice and labour law.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.
