About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Solution Architect to join our ALM team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving implementation services, providing technical advisory services, and supporting field readiness and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and support implementation services attachment to support ARR growth and long-term customer satisfaction through implementation excellence.
  • Provide technical advisory services and mentorship for PTC partners.
  • Support PTC's internal segment processes, the Partner Hub, and solicit feedback from the field for segment considerations.
  • Develop documentation to support partners as they implement PTC ALM solutions.
  • Provide segment-specific subject matter expertise in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Share segment/industry-specific expertise throughout the technical community of practice.
  • Act as an advisor on escalated accounts.
Day-to-Day
  • Develop and present technical presentations and customized demonstrations of PTC Codebeamer to customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Organize and support technical workshops based on customers' and partners' business needs.
  • Consult on potential solutions and/or alternatives to key customer and partner challenges.
  • Act as a technical project manager for customer projects, working with our partners, solution centers, and R&D.
  • Analyze customers' processes and PTC solution value to support the use of core product in line with best practice guidance.
  • Create technical documentation, including guides, best practices, and reference materials, to empower customers to make the most of our products in a scalable and efficient way.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, working closely with the customer and our engineering teams to find effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the creation of reference architectures and frameworks that enable customers to scale and optimize their use of our software.
Requirements
  • Excellent relationship building capabilities, high-energy, and results-oriented with a customer-first mentality.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • First-class attention to detail, solution-finding.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the ALM space with associated technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in programming languages (Java, C++, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Experience in one of relational database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Previous software consulting experience in the role of solution, technical, or application architect.
Basic Qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science bachelor's degree/master's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
