Market Development Strategy Intern

Your Role in Our Team

  • Support the Africa / Middle East (AFM) & Asia team in day-to-day business operations.
  • Contribute to project support, focusing on topics such as 'Recovery of South Africa', 'Used Machinery', and 'Tender management for AFM, Asia, Europe, America, Australia', as well as 'Capture Management for AFM, Asia, Europe, America, Australia'.
  • Prepare and follow up on meetings, create PowerPoint presentations, and conduct data research to drive business decisions.
  • Develop market analyses and reports to inform business strategies.
  • Update the dealer structure and addresses of importers / dealers, ensuring accurate information.
  • Manage contracts for AFM regions, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Maintain and expand the AFM Share Point platform, enhancing team collaboration and productivity.
  • Support the planning and organization of importer and customer groups, fostering strong relationships.

Your Profile:

  • Possess advanced studies in economics, agricultural science, or comparable fields.
  • Demonstrate technology affinity and an independent work style.
  • Exhibit strategic thinking and structured, customer-oriented work habits.
  • Show a willingness to work in an international team environment.
  • Have first-hand practical experience in relevant areas.
  • Speak very good English and French, with other foreign languages being desirable.
  • Hold very good knowledge of MS Office, with knowledge of Share Point / SAP being a plus.

Internship Details:

  • Work a regular 35-hour week.
  • The internship should last 3-6 months; please specify your available period in your cover letter.
  • Occasional work from home is possible by arrangement.
  • Participate in our monthly 'CLAAS StudentTalk' event to network with students and CLAAS employees.
  • Have the opportunity to write a thesis in cooperation with CLAAS after completing the internship.
