Global Purchasing Internship Opportunity

Your role in our team

  • Actively support a dynamic team as a fully integrated member in their daily work.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager & Management Team of Global Purchasing.
  • Gain a 360° perspective of the entire purchasing organization.
  • Support and prepare strategy & management team meetings.
  • Create internal and external keynote presentations for the Senior Vice President Global Purchasing.
  • Research and analyze market developments to inform reporting requirements.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses and support the team in organizing and coordinating events and committees.

Your profile:

  • You study business administration, industrial engineering, or a purchasing-related field and are motivated to apply your theoretical knowledge in a business and purchasing context.
  • First relevant experience, e.g., through previous internships.
  • Excellent language skills in English and German, with French preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Open, determined, and proactive mindset.
  • Strong conceptual and communication skills.
  • Self-organized, team-oriented, and passionate about your work.
  • You enjoy working independently and are reliable in managing projects with your colleagues.
  • Availability as of spring/summer 2024, preferably three to six months at our location in Harsewinkel, with flexible start and duration possible.
