Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Specialist to join our team at LSE Space. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing our operations database, ensuring the smooth operation of our spacecraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and populate the operations database with accurate and up-to-date information
  • Analyze database change requests and validate their implementation in the mission control system
  • Debug and correct database issues to ensure system reliability
  • Deploy and activate database updates in the validation and operational environments
  • Participate in database change request boards and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze input satellite reference databases delivered by space segment
  • Participate in satellite reference database acceptance processes
  • Be the main point of contact for operations database tools and investigate anomalies
  • Participate in anomaly review boards and validate new system releases
  • Execute and debug flight operations procedures release processes
  • Participate in flight control team meetings and maintain operations product configuration lists
Requirements
  • Experience in operations database population, maintenance, debugging, and analysis
  • Experience in spacecraft operations and operations procedure preparation
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python, VBA)
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with SCOS 2000 and MOIS would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Galileo system will be a plus
  • Fluent in English, both in speech and writing
