Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Analyst to join our team at LSE Space. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and populating our Operations Database (ODB) according to Database Change Requests (DCRs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Operations Database (ODB) and ensure its accuracy and integrity.
  • Populate the ODB according to Database Change Requests (DCRs) and validate their implementation in the Mission Control System.
  • Debug and correct the ODB to ensure seamless operations.
  • Deploy and activate ODB updates in the validation and operational environment.
  • Participate in ODB Change Request Boards (CRBs) and contribute to the development of new database procedures.
  • Analyze input SRDBs (Satellite Reference DataBases) delivered by Space Segment and participate in their acceptance process.
  • Be the main point of contact for ODB tools: MOIS and OPF (Operations Preparation Facility).
  • Investigate anomalies on these tools and generate anomaly reports.
  • Participate in Anomaly Review Boards (ARBs) and contribute to the improvement of our database systems.
  • Validate new system releases and support the definition of additional requirements.
  • Execute and debug the FOP (Flight Operations Procedures) release process.
  • Participate in Flight Control Team meetings and contribute to the development of our operations procedures.
  • Maintain the Operations Product Configuration List.
Requirements
  • Experience in operations database population, maintenance, debugging, and analysis.
  • Experience in Spacecraft Operations and Operations Procedure Preparation.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python, VBA) and Relational Databases and SQL.
  • Experience with SCOS 2000 and MOIS would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Galileo system will be a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both in speech and writing.
