Cargo Business Development Manager for Latin America
Located in various cities across Latin America, this role will lead the growth of our GSA Cargo portfolio. The successful candidate will implement effective processes to grow and market our client's share and optimize account performance.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a team to grow our GSA Cargo portfolio in Latin America.
- Implement effective processes to grow and market our client's share and optimize account performance.
- Develop and self-generate leads using numerous methods, including cold calls.
- Prepare and present comprehensive and convincing client pitches.
- Negotiate contracts and develop incentive schemes with new clients.
- Integrate and implement clients for multi-territory clients.
- Monitor all airlines representation activities in the region.
- Develop strategic plans and regular reports for top clients.
- Guide and coordinate the Cargo sales team for our airline clients.
- Lead and develop our team, including recruiting, managing, and coaching.
Required Key Skills and Knowledge:
- Higher university degree or equivalent qualified education.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Cargo in Latin America, ideally in a leading role with personnel responsibility.
- Extensive experience in new account acquisition and management.
- Extensive network within the cargo and airline industry.
- Familiarity with all cargo tools sales & distribution channels.
- Proven commercial track record.
- Energetic, self-motivated, hands-on personality, willing to take initiative and inspire their team.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, presentation and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English and Spanish, other languages as Portuguese are a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally, approximately 15%.
- Good team skills, but also able to work independently.
