OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

Within the "Strategy & Operations" division, the Corporate Functions Operations team is at the forefront of GFA's transformation efforts, working closely with the GFA Leadership team, industry experts, and stakeholders. This team is dedicated to innovating and executing essential strategies, including the design, development, deployment, and enhancement of finance processes. They collaborate with stakeholders and users to elevate process maturity and deliver outstanding process experiences.

  • Improve visibility into spending and decision-making across the source-to-pay process
  • Ensure processes are intuitive, standardized, automated, compliant, and effective
  • Implement streamlined and uniform source-to-pay processes aligned with business and compliance requirements
  • Integrate AI into cloud solutions to enhance customer satisfaction

The S2P team's mission is to streamline, automate, and standardize services, drive process excellence, and optimize SAP Procurement Solutions to alleviate operational burdens. They support procurement and shared services by fostering internal collaborations and maintaining robust relationships with external suppliers.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a proactive working student to join the S2P Process Management Team. This role involves assisting with project execution, ongoing simplification and standardization initiatives, and enhancing our Cloud solutions. Responsibilities include project management support, process documentation, and operational assistance, with opportunities for additional responsibilities based on the candidate's interests. Success in this role requires a passion for learning, a strong focus on procurement, and a keen interest in technology.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a university or university of applied sciences
  • Preferably pursuing a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Proficient in German and English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
  • Able to learn and thrive in an international environment
  • Strong analytical and quality-oriented mindset
  • Soft skills: Motivated, service-oriented, results-driven, proactive, team-oriented, excellent communication, independent, flexible, organized, and adept at time management
  • Proficient in MS-Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – advanced skills preferred; familiarity with SAP Technology is a plus, as is experience with video creation/Photoshop
  • Experience in project management, MS SharePoint, Work Zone, and video production is beneficial
