Senior Expert Accounting

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for independently preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS for partnerships and corporations in the Freudenberg Group
- You will be responsible for the complete and correct recording of all current business transactions and clarification of accounting issues in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- You are the Key User General Ledger: technical contact person for IT in the context of system maintenance, review and further development of accounting-relevant SAP processes
- You will maintain the G/L chart of accounts and balance sheet tables (SAP FI-GL module) as well as interfaces to the Freudenberg Group reporting system
- You will prepare the monthly advance sales tax returns
- You are the technical contact for internal and external interfaces
- It goes without saying that you will prepare ad-hoc analyses and meet internal and external deadlines
- You enjoy working on projects in the area of finance and accounting

**Qualifications**:

- You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship with further training to become a balance sheet accountant or have successfully completed a degree with a focus on finance and business administration
- You have several years of professional experience in balance sheet accounting and the preparation of annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
- Your profound knowledge of the accounting regulations HGB and IFRS distinguish you from others
- You have a very good knowledge of the SAP module FI-GL (experience with SAP S/4Hana is desirable) and a proficient handling of the MS Office package, especially Excel
- Your working language is German and you have a good command of English (spoken and written)
- Your high affinity for numbers, your structured and analytical way of working as well as your distinct ability to work in a team speak for you
- Your sense of responsibility, commitment, reliability and discretion round off your profile
