We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist to join our team at the Department of Regenerative Musculoskeletal Medicine in the Institute for Musculoskeletal Medicine (IMM) at the University Hospital in Muenster, Germany.
About the PositionThis is a part-time position (50%) with 19.25 hours per week, initially limited to 2 years. The successful candidate will support our project and lab management, with a focus on lab organization, grant writing, and scientific publication.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review scientific applications, including literature reviews, funding proposals, and animal experiment protocols
- Contribute to the preparation and publication of scientific papers
- Develop and write grant applications to secure research funding
- Support lab work regarding safety, organization, and quality, including review of protocols and procedures, preparation of meetings and seminars
- Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline
- Proven track record of successful grant applications and funding acquisition
- Interest and experience in lab organization, grant writing, and scientific publication
- Direct experience in lab safety, genetic engineering, and animal experiments
- Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and conducting high-quality scientific research
- Good communication skills in both German and English
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A multifaceted academic position in a motivated and communicative research environment within a successful translational working group
