Job Description

Senior Front-End Developer (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on current projects as well as starting new projects. You will be responsible for building and maintaining user interfaces for our web applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will collaborate with our back-end team and play a key role in delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js.
  • Design and implement UI/UX components and layouts that enhance the user experience.
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Translate design concepts and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Start new projects and contribute to the planning and development phases.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications and designs remain cutting-edge.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing development skills.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Context API).
  • Solid understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and user-centered design.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, and Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
