Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Team Lead Virtual Workplace to join our team at KION Group IT. As a key member of our Azure Virtual Desktop team, you will be responsible for validating components of the Azure infrastructure, publishing AVD desktop/application solutions, and optimizing, scaling, and monitoring virtual desktop infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate components of the Azure infrastructure as part of the AVD / W365 deployment.
  • Publish AVD desktop/application solutions and be responsible for application delivery.
  • Optimize, scale, and monitor the virtual desktop infrastructures.
  • Analyze and evaluate cloud resources and develop strategies for cost optimization, capacity, and lifecycle management, and governance.
  • Take care of PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
  • Help shape safety standards and check compliance with them.
Technology Stack

You will work with virtual desktop technologies such as AVD, Windows 365, PowerShell, Intune, and Azure management of VDI environments, User Configuration Management (Intune, GPO, Profiles, FSLogix), M365 Service Stack, and Advantageous: Experience in technologies Citrix, Remote Desktop or other VMWare, Active Directory, Conditional Access, Storage and Networking.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of and experience in PowerShell, Microsoft 365 (M365), Azure Active Directory, Intune, VDI, VMware, Citrix.
  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) certificate would be beneficial.
