Technical Sales Representative for Indexable Tools

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team in the German Territory. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving our business growth by establishing sales contacts, researching customer needs, and developing applications for our high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting market strategies and goals for each product and service
  • Researching and developing lists of potential customers
  • Performing market research to determine customer needs and providing information to other staff
  • Evaluating product and service marketability in terms of customers' technical and manufacturing needs
  • FOLLOWING UP ON SALES LEADS AND MAKING CALLS ON POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS WHICH INCLUDES AT LEAST (50%-80%) OF YOUR TIME ON THE ROAD VISITING CUSTOMERS
  • Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets
  • Establishing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales
  • Working directly with customers to establish a communication path with the customer
  • Developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products and services
  • Making regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads
  • Establishing long-term, ongoing repeat relationships
Requirements
  • Must live near the area of Thuringia, Germany, in postal code 9
  • Able to track rapidly changing competition and market forces
  • Good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing
  • Available to travel for business purposes
