Deep Dive into MEMS Gyroscope Simulation Modelling

We are seeking a talented graduate to extend an existing simulation model of a MEMS gyroscope in MATLAB Simulink, focusing on nonlinear mechanics and temperature dependencies. This project offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with Bosch experts and gain a deeper understanding of the physical effects underlying this complex system.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Extending the existing simulation model to incorporate sensor-specific physical properties.
  • Collaborating with Bosch experts to understand the underlying physical effects and cause-and-effect relationships.
  • Selecting an appropriate modeling approach, such as using MATLAB Simscape.
  • Designing validation and sanity checks for the models.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Cybernetics, Microsystems Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
  • Excellent knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink, as well as experience in mathematical description and modeling of dynamic systems.
  • A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
