Position Overview:

As a Community Engagement Specialist at Fnatic, you will represent our brand to a vast audience of esports enthusiasts worldwide, both in digital spaces and real-life events. Your role will focus on nurturing a community that fosters a deep sense of belonging, connecting key moments across Fnatic's games, products, and events to engage current fans and attract new ones.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Enhancing community growth through customized activations, both online and offline.
  • Facilitating the execution of marketing initiatives, meetups, and viewing parties in various locations.
  • Establishing strong partnerships with game developers and tournament organizers to create opportunities for fan engagement during match days.
  • Developing the Fnatic Network, our community of grassroots ambassadors.
  • Analyzing the growth of Fnatic Network talent and documenting success stories in fostering creator careers.
  • Coordinating product distributions for Fnatic Network members.
  • Educating internal teams about opportunities related to the Network, including revenue generation within partnerships.
  • Leading communications regarding Fnatic events and updates to community members and social media platforms as needed.
  • Encouraging signups and usage of Fnatic ID across all marketing efforts.
  • Continuously improving in-app content and communications, collaborating with moderators and Network talent to promote inclusivity.
  • Working alongside the Marketing team to integrate app-specific initiatives into every marketing campaign, creating exclusive community touchpoints that drive app downloads and signups.
  • Monitoring engagement metrics and collaborating with Marketing and Data teams to gain deeper audience insights.
  • Ensuring commitments to community members are met, providing them with insider access to new initiatives.
  • Managing various community engagement projects as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Entry-level experience in marketing within a consumer-focused brand environment.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide informed recommendations.
  • Passion for community building, both online and offline, along with a strong affinity for digital products.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive initiatives forward.
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of youth culture and trends in media consumption.
  • Resourceful mindset with the ability to maximize limited resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
