Stage Control Systems Sales Engineer

Job Title: Sales Engineer - Stage Control Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Waagner-Biro Stage Systems. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales projects for our stage control systems, working closely with our sales back office in Luxembourg, international sales teams in Vienna, Germany, China, and our network of sales agents and partner companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage sales projects for stage control systems
  • Build and maintain relationships with specialist planners, sales partners, and customer representatives
  • Identify and prepare participation in upcoming tenders
  • Manage sales projects during the tendering phase
  • Present our products and services at exhibitions, sales events, and conferences
  • Analyse and understand customer requirements and develop optimal solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering experts to develop automation control systems
  • Involve suppliers or find new partners to create competitive solutions
Requirements:
  • University degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics
  • Previous experience in sales of stage technology or automation control systems
  • Familiarity with the entertainment industry and stage procedures
  • Good comprehension of technical challenges and enthusiasm for developing technical concepts
  • Knowledge of relevant norms and functional safety
  • Expressive writing and visualisation skills
  • Confident use of Office tools and modern communication platforms
