About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Deployment and Automation Engineer to join our team at Amazon TA.

This is a travel-based role, with expected travel of 90% or more across Europe. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with hardware engineering, technical program, and product managers, as well as internal customers such as site maintenance and operations teams.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment, managing multiple large projects, and utilizing Microsoft Office and CAD software.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or other STEM field degrees.
  • Experience in Logistics, Distribution, or Fulfillment processes.

You will be responsible for driving innovation in fulfillment technology and robotics, developing project plans and technical solutions for large-scale projects, and influencing internal and external partner teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the installation of cross-functional projects with significant impact on schedule, scope, cost, and product performance.
  • Support program strategy for annual planning of resources and budget, defining deployment plans and continuous improvement goals.
  • Owning communication of program execution and performance.

The CX team works backwards from internal customer insights to validate, deploy, and support MSP solutions globally.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
