About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join our global team and develop and deliver world-class technology systems inside our fulfillment centers.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development of project plans and technical solutions, influencing internal and external partner teams, and owning the tactical planning of installation projects with significant impact on schedule, scope, cost, and product performance.

You will also support the strategy of your program/product by defining deployment plans and continuous improvement goals, setting standards, driving mechanisms, and delivering efficiencies across both deployment execution and machine performance.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will focus on two primary lines of effort: deployment project management and product ramp-up support.

You will collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, and internal customers to ensure products are ready for deployment and capable of achieving business requirements.

You will travel to project sites, collaborate virtually and in-person, and manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.

About the Team

The Customer Experience team within Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging works backwards from Internal Customer insights to validate, deploy, and support MSP solutions globally.

This team maintains unified accountability in the field towards internal Customers, enabling vertical integration and life-cycle management of MSP solutions across three pillars: Quality Assurance, Deployment & Ramp-up, and Support.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other STEM field degrees
  • Experience in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
  • Experience directly managing multiple large projects
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and CAD software experience (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360)
  • Ability to travel upwards of 90%
Salary

Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
