Rebuy is a pioneer in the sustainable reuse of electronics and media, and we're looking for a Senior Category Manager to shape the future of our Media offerings. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue and profitability goals for the Media category.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Strategy & Growth: Lead one or two media categories toward ambitious revenue and profitability goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Master Data & Pricing: Apply your analytical skills to work with large datasets, using tools like Excel and Looker. A passion for data is key here, and if you know SQL and/or Python, that's a big plus.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with our BI and Data Science teams to improve forecasting, pricing mechanisms, and optimize inventory health.
- Lead Cross-Category Projects: Collaborate across multiple departments to implement new features and boost category performance.
- A minimum of 5 years in Category Management, preferably in e-commerce or retail with a focus on physical goods, ideally in the media category.
- Analytical Mindset: You enjoy diving into data, finding insights, and making decisions based on numbers.
- Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is required, and if you have experience with SQL or Python, it's a huge advantage.
- Problem Solver: Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Language Skills: English is required, and German is a plus, but not mandatory.
