Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of our hardware and software environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, and administration of hardware and software environment
- Collaboration with external service providers
- Maintaining documentation and optimizing processes
- Coordination of internal projects in the area of IT infrastructure
- Carrying out updates and backups
- Fault analysis and troubleshooting of IT systems in use
Requirements:
- Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Several years of experience in the entire network environment (switching, routing, proxy, firewall, LDAP) as well as in the connection of external locations (WAN, VPN, MPLS, VoIP)
- Ideal knowledge of working with one or more services: Exchange, SQL Server, virtualization using VMware, Citrix, VoIP telephone systems, etc.
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Analytical thinking and a systematic, independent, and self-reliant way of working
