We are currently seeking a highly skilled IT infrastructure specialist to join our team at GULP – experts united in Hamburg. As a leading company in the IT sector, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where you can utilize your expertise to drive success.
SalaryWe offer a competitive salary structure based on qualifications and professional experience, ensuring that our employees are fairly compensated for their skills and dedication. Our current estimate for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year.
Job DescriptionAs an IT infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of hardware and software environments. Your key tasks will include:
- Installation and configuration of network infrastructure components, including switching and routing devices
- Collaboration with external service providers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
- Maintaining accurate documentation of processes and systems
- Coordinating internal projects related to IT infrastructure
- Carrying out regular updates and backups to prevent data loss
- Analyzing and troubleshooting IT system faults
To excel in this role, you will require:
- Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Several years of experience in network environments, including switching, routing, proxy, firewall, and LDAP
- Experience in connecting external locations via WAN, VPN, MPLS, and VoIP
- Ideal knowledge of working with services such as Exchange, SQL Server, VMware, Citrix, and VoIP telephone systems
- Strong customer orientation and analytical thinking
