Job Description

Overview: Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is a leading logistics provider seeking an experienced Warehouse Logistics Manager to oversee daily operations in our Werne, Germany facility.

Salary: €55,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of approximately 25 employees, ensuring efficient use of equipment, monitoring compliance with service level agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs), and conducting regular warehouse tours to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency
  • Conduct regular meetings with operational management to discuss employee performance, attendance, and quality control
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and service level agreements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment through regular inspections and coaching
  • Analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support operational management in personnel deployment planning and scheduling

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office and warehouse management systems
