Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our System Test Team at K-tronik GmbH. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating and supporting industrial electrical schematics, developing 2D and 3D electrical panel designs, and planning wire harness designs and installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document switchgear for test benches up to 1 kV in accordance with IEC standards
  • Prepare missing CE documents, including risk assessments, manuals, and calculations
  • Produce drawings for cable harnesses, switch cabinets, and mounting plates
  • Adapt safety systems in accordance with EN ISO 13849
  • Create circuit diagrams and support cable harness design and installation
  • Support test equipment and data acquisition systems
  • Manage system design data in Teamcenter
Requirements:
  • Degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics (industry/aerospace) or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience in creating circuit diagrams and working with CAD systems
  • Experience in a system test or R&D environment
  • In-depth knowledge of common harmonized standards of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU
  • Knowledge of E-plan software
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter and experience in design of test instruments are a plus
