Job Opportunity: Power Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Power Electronics Engineer to contribute to our team in Berlin. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing auxiliary converters for railway and bus applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of auxiliary converters for railway and bus applications.
  • Specification of components and technical requirements in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Execution and documentation of validation tests.
  • Participation in production and series testing.
  • Creation of technical documentation for projects.
  • Technical support for customers, including requirement analysis and solution development.
  • Support for the service and repair department in fault analysis and rectification.
  • Collaboration with the technical sales team for product standardization and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience in power electronics design and application, preferably in auxiliary power or railway technology.
  • Ability to work in an international and interdisciplinary team.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SiC semiconductors.
  • PhD in power electronics.
  • German language skills.
