Research Opportunity in Carbon Nano Devices

We are seeking a highly motivated research scientist to join our team at the Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nano Systems ENAS. The successful candidate will work on the development of carbon nano devices, focusing on advancements in technology and methodological developments for CNT-FET arrays.

The research will involve intensive characterization utilizing various methods such as electrical FET characterization, atomic force microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, surface profilometry, and absorption spectroscopy. The candidate will also be responsible for designing experiments, developing methodologies, and evaluating results.

We offer a dynamic and innovative research environment with access to modern equipment and well-equipped office workstations. The successful candidate will be integrated into a permanent research team and will have a dedicated contact person to answer questions.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD degree in physics, engineering, chemistry, or an equivalent degree program
  • Basic knowledge of analytical characterization methods
  • Independent and autonomous way of working
  • Very good language skills in German and English
