About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Fressnapf. As a key member of our marketplace team, you will be responsible for building and expanding our online marketplace in France.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire potential partners to integrate into our marketplace, and develop strategic plans to expand our product range.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify relevant categories for our French marketplace, and acquire partners from unrelated industries with a new product focus.
- Shape the vendor management for our French marketplace partners, including negotiating contract terms, overseeing the onboarding process, and ensuring contract execution.
- Act as the interface between external partners and internal departments, such as procurement, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
- Strengthen our presence in France by attending events and trade shows to promote our brand and build relationships with potential partners.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the online marketplace sector, with a proven track record of successfully growing partner and product portfolios.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively use data to support decision-making, and excellent negotiation and communication skills to build effective relationships.
- Fluency in both French (native level) and English is essential, with German being a strong plus.
