Global Finance Director for PTI and Finance Head GSW Region Germany

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Head to lead our PTI and GSW Region Germany teams. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will be responsible for driving, ensuring, and optimizing all relevant finance-related processes within SI GSW PTI/GSW Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional and disciplinary lead the finance team for PTI HQ/GSW Germany business, taking financial and commercial responsibility for the whole value creation process.
  • Ensure and enforce effective internal controls, policies, and procedures in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Support in operational finance administration with a hands-on attitude, including negotiation with external customers.
  • Be the entrepreneur for global PTI finance, acting as a commercial partner to the Head of PTI/GSW Germany and assuming responsibility for financial performance.
  • Drive the digitalization in PTI Performance Controlling, e.g., through implementing Business Intelligence Tools.
  • Support the establishment of a global CRM system based on salesforce.com and ensure proper data quality.
  • Drive the improvement of overall business performance and develop and implement new business models for scalable business.
  • Support strategic PTI/GSW Germany initiatives, such as global offering and ordering models, along with other process improvements and initiatives in GSW Germany, together with the GSW Germany Head.
About You

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced finance professional with a strong understanding of project/system and/or consulting business, including underlying business models. You should have experience in managing and leading international teams and projects, as well as international business transactions with a focus on product/system and/or consulting business.

You should have strong Excel, MS Office, reporting, and presentation skills, with experience with BI-tools (SAP/BW, Tableau, Essbase, SAP Business Objects) being a plus. Strong skills in SAP/BW offering and ordering process, as well as strong written, communication, and presentation skills in English and German language, are also required.

You should be a strong data analyst with business-oriented visualization skills and have a strong understanding of the energy sector and the challenges it faces.
