We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic Café Team Member to join our dynamic team at The Base. As a key member of our community, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our café is always clean, tidy, and ready for business. Your friendly and outgoing personality will shine as you serve breakfast, drinks, and snacks to our guests, making them feel welcome and at home.

As a Food and Beverage Service Professional, you'll be responsible for covering shifts in the café, working closely with our Community Manager and Venue Sales Manager to ensure the smooth running of events. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our café and ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, is fluent in English (written and spoken, German is a plus), and has a strong 'hands-on' mentality. If you're a team player who is always up for a challenge, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the café is always clean, tidy, and ready for business
  • Cover shifts in the café, serving breakfast, drinks, and snacks
  • Work with the Community Manager and Venue Sales Manager to ensure the smooth running of events
  • Ensure that the vending machines are filled and look yummy
  • Ensure you are up to date on all health & safety policies
  • Computer tasks such as digitalization, researching, reporting, inventory, posters, among others
  • Reception tasks and usage of company's software to ensure the smooth running of the operations (Check-ins, key encoding, guest support during their stay at the hotel, among others)
Requirements
  • You already have experience in the F&B area or similar
  • You love coffee and food and always want to try new trends
  • You genuinely love working with people. You enjoy open communication, are fluent in English (written and spoken, German is a plus) and you are a friendly and outgoing person face to face
  • You are happy to work in a startup environment and have a strong 'hands-on' mentality
  • You are available for morning shifts starting at 6.30 am as well as weekend shifts
