About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP System Consultant to join our team at Munich Re. As a key member of our global support team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and oversight for our RI accounting systems, particularly SAP FPSL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent SAP FPSL system usage globally
  • Coordinate system requirements process, including testing activities, from an accounting perspective
  • Develop and implement reporting functionalities and perform technical validation checks
  • Represent RIA1.5.5 in alignment meetings with central valuation and reporting teams
  • Participate in cross-divisional and group-wide projects and working groups
  • Conduct internal and external training on system-related accounting and closing topics
Requirements
  • Degree in computer science or business administration or a degree in insurance business administration
  • Several years of relevant experience in system administration or accounting
  • Very good knowledge of SAP accounting systems, including SAP FPSL, GT & ECON, and Business Warehouse Solutions
  • Willingness to learn new system applications, such as SAP Analytics Cloud and PowerBI
  • Interest in accounting topics, especially related to IFRS17
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to tackle complex issues
  • Excellent command of English
