We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team in Braunschweig. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining software solutions that empower our store teams.

As a member of our BC Customer Management department, you will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure the smooth integration and operation of solutions.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining store back office software solutions. This will involve ensuring their functionality, stability, and security.

You will also develop new features and technologies to optimize store operations and increase management efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain store back office software solutions
  • Develop new features and technologies to optimize store operations
  • Ensure code quality by applying best practices in software engineering
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of solutions
  • Integrate data from various sources to provide meaningful reports and dashboards for management
  • Collaborate with the testing team to ensure software quality through joint efforts
  • Actively participate in scrum activities, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, review, and retrospectives
  • Continuously improve development methods and technologies to increase efficiency and quality of work

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a similar field, with several years of professional software development experience, ideally in point of sale or retail environments.

You will also need to be proficient in C# (.NET), ASP.net, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular, with a strong understanding of development best practices including Git and version control.

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher
  • Database management (SQLite and MS SQL)
  • Knowledge of agile development methods, particularly Scrum
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus

Benefits
