As a Full Stack Developer for Point of Sale Systems at NEW YORKER, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of retail technology. Our team is dedicated to creating seamless and efficient customer experiences in our stores, and we're seeking a talented developer to join us in this mission.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain POS software solutions that meet the highest standards of functionality, stability, and security.
  • Collaborate with our product owner, software architect, and other developers to translate business needs into robust and user-friendly software solutions.
  • Develop new features and technologies to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase point of sale efficiency.
  • Ensure code quality by applying best practices in software engineering.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of solutions.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in computer science, business informatics, or a similar field.
  • Several years of professional experience in software development, ideally in the point of sale or retail environment.
  • Proficiency in C# (.NET), ASP.net, and WPF, as well as experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular or Aurelia.
  • Strong understanding of development best practices and containerization technologies.
  • Experience with database management and API design.
  • Knowledge of agile development methods, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
