Job Description

A key aspect of our corporate philosophy is building strong customer relationships. As a Sales Manager Road, you will develop comprehensive and tailored transportation solutions for our key accounts across various product areas, focusing on land transport. Your responsibilities will span from acquiring new customers through the initial contact, quotation, and contract phases to maintaining and expanding existing business relationships. You will work closely with our customers as a single point of contact, providing administrative and sales-related support.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage a sales territory in the Osnabrück area, ensuring responsible and effective sales strategies.
  • Acquire new customers through initial contact, quotation, and contract phases, driving business growth.
  • Maintain administrative and sales-related activities, ensuring seamless customer support.
  • Collaborate with support functions and operational units to achieve sales objectives.
  • Support and expand existing customer business, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Closely coordinate with the Road Osnabrück branch manager to align sales strategies.
Your Profile:
  • Completed training or studies in forwarding and logistics or a comparable qualification.
  • Sound professional experience in the sale of general cargo, part and full loads, preferably in the Osnabrück-Emsland area.
  • Regional sales expertise in the Osnabrück-Emsland area, focusing on general cargo and part and full loads, is desirable.
  • Confident appearance, networking skills, and high self-organization are essential.
  • Persuasiveness and negotiating skills are crucial for acquiring new customers and closing deals.
  • Confident communication skills in German and English are required.
  • Creativity and initiative are valued in this role.
