Job Title: Manufacturing Design Engineer
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Design Engineer to join our team at 2140 K-T GMBH. As a key member of our motion control systems team, you will be responsible for designing and improving high-precision motion systems, collaborating with international experts, and driving continuous improvement through innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-precision motion systems, including XYZ sub-micron stages, active dumping flotation systems, and air-ball bearings high-precision motors.
- Lead Failure Analysis investigations and field system failure escalations in the area of motion components.
- Perform extensive data analysis to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Partner with international motion system experts to share knowledge and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement of motion systems by modifying existing motion control loops and developing stage test benches.
- Perform and support assembling, integrating, and testing of motion systems in manufacturing.
- Generate and maintain process and equipment work instructions, drawings, and other production documents to conform to specifications.
Requirements:
- Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years in motion control field.
- Programming capabilities in MATLAB, Python, LabView, or C (one or more).
- Knowledge in control and electrical systems.
- Project lead and project management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues, set up experiments, and perform data analysis.
